This publication is an interesting war diary, with pictures taken by the author & his comrades, in two parts, by Guy Amand. Amand served as a regular soldier with the Commando Parachutiste de l'Air 10/541 from 1958 - 1962 in Algeria. Part-One | Part-Two. I can also recommend the book "A Savage War of Peace", by Alistair Horne, in order to understand the struggle & de-colonisation in Algeria.
