Urban Counterinsurgency | Case Studies and Implications for U.S. Military Forces

Operation Black Mac: Corporal Tom Westcott of the 2nd Battalion, Parachute Regiment, looking at the opening in the floor of a kitchen in a mountain village house, which led to an underground room where six terrorists were hiding.
Technical Memorandum 14-89, written by R. D. McLaurin and R. Miller is yet another find from the dusty shelves of the archives. It sheds some light on past counter-insurgency operations in an urban environment.
